The KAWS language

The pieces here share one character language: a rounded head, X eyes, gloves and shorts. One stance stands. The other sits with the face covered. On a plain wall, either can hold a room.

In short

The selection has two stances. One is the standing Companion. The other is Passing Through, hands over the face. Colour and gloss change; the signs — X, gloves, ears — stay.

Who are they for? Someone who wants one pop-art object in a room, and is content with a single colour and a single stance. Stock and orders are asked on WhatsApp. The guides cover the character’s history and how to place it.

In a room

The standing piece is read against a door height or a console. The seated pose is a lower mass; it competes with a table or a pedestal.

Matte black disappears on a dark wall and gives a contour on a light ground. Glossy red collects light. Taupe can sit in a lobby without raising its voice.
